CV / Awards

Hans Diernberger studied Media Art at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne and accomplished the MFA in Fine Art at Goldsmiths College, London. His work has been shown at several shows throughout Europe and the USA. He has been awarded the Spiridon-Neven-DuMont Prize in Cologne and a DAAD grant. In 2012 he has been selected as artist in residence at Villa Aurora in Los Angeles. In his work, he amalgamates the fields of Performance, Video, Photography and Installation in a very personal and experiential way leading to mesmerizing installations that open up a discourse onto wider philosophical questions.

Hans lives and works in Cologne, Germany.
